So leave it to the kids — and this year, they get to try out a cool new ride at Elitch Gardens in Denver: the 17-story—, a giant, gravity-defying swing that looks so awesome, it may even tempt queasy adults to give it a try.
Forty-eight people ride in pairs across open-air seats that climb high above the ground while speeding in circles up to 50 miles per hour.

Elitch Gardens Theme and Water Park’s owner,—, reported spending $4 million in new capital for the 2017 season.
That’s a pretty big investment in your fun.
So go, get spinny. Or just watch your kids do it. It’s safer.
Park hours:
Open 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on April 29 and 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on April 30. Limited weekday operation until May 18. The summer season runs through Aug. 20; after that, the park is open mostly weekends through October. Check for the calendar and specific hours of operation.
General admission:
Daily tickets are $34.99-$54.99 per person at the main gate box office.—Season passes start at $69.99 and can be or at the gate.
