Extra police officers and security personnel will be present at Lafayette’s Centaurus High School for the rest of the week after two threats were found on campus.

Boulder Valley School District spokesman Briggs Gamblin said two messages — one found in a boys’ restroom and one found in a library cubicle — both threatened acts of violence on Friday.

As a result, Gamblin said extra Lafayette police and Boulder Valley security personnel will be on campus this week. A note was sent to all Centaurus parents notifying them of the threats and the added security.
