William Lyon Homes is showing Colorado its experience and design expertise — and today is the day to come see those ideas as it hosts a grand opening of three flexible, family-sized homes at Candelas in Arvada.
“These are models that show a ‘wow’ factor at a very reasonable price,” says Allie Thurston, showing off the stone-trimmed exteriors.
William Lyon’s sales team at Candelas will have entertainers, baristas, a smoothie cart and a model home experience that showcases plenty of space, large kitchens, personal design flexibility, lots of extra room for storage and, on most, a three-car-garage at the standard price.
Meanwhile, even if you’ve visited Candelas before, you’re going to be wowed by the newest amenities — two lavish rec centers in place now, with loads of community events. Candelas also boasts an on-site K-8 charter school on its way to supplement top-ranked Jeffco schools, including 10-for-10 Meiklejohn Elementary and Ralston Valley High. Also, a King Soopers is coming to Candelas’ entry on Indiana Street. Thatap not to mention Candelas now has 13.5 miles of trails through 193 acres of community open space, plus six parks already on site, including a beauty right across from the models.
The horizon here has the same backdrop of the Flatirons and Ralston Buttes that the adjoining 6,000-acre National Wildlife Refuge will have. And trails and open space dominate the views from these models, as well as from some homes that William Lyon has ready for quick move-in. You can tour a three-bedroom Ellington ranch plan with over 2,100 square feet, ready now at $496,735. Also available to tour is a family-sized, four-bedroom home with a walkout basement and three-car, full-wide garage, which boasts the same views you’ll see from the models, priced at $629,813.
Candelas has Arvada’s commuter access to Denver West and to downtown, but works just as well if your workday world is centered in Boulder or on U.S. 36. For the latter, William Lyon is also bringing new models to Flatiron Meadows in Erie, on Erie Parkway (Isabelle) between downtown Erie and U.S. 287, 20 minutes from Boulder’s high-tech corridor. The community is within the Boulder Valley School District. And you can find William Lyon homes headed for completion there from the $400s, along with two model homes set for a grand opening Saturday, May 6.
William Lyon is bringing its designs to other communities all over Denver and northern Colorado. The builder has homes for quick move-in at Leyden Rock in Arvada; at Southshore and Greenfield in southeast Aurora; and at West Village in Timnath, just east of Fort Collins. Also, watch for an incredibly affordable opportunity William Lyon is creating for single-family and townhomes at Avion at Denver Connection, off Peña Boulevard at 48th, within easy reach of the Anschutz Medical Campus.
To reach today’s grand opening at Candelas, take Indiana north from W. 64th three miles to Candelas Parkway and turn west 1.6 mile to Salvia; or from the Flatiron Crossing area, take Interlocken south a mile to CO 128, turn right two miles to Indiana and head south to Candelas. LyonColorado.com has directions to all communities, including an interest list for Avion.
