The Colorado Mammoth take on the Saskatchewan Rush in the National Lacrosse League West Division Finals, with the winner of the best-of-three series advancing to the championship.

Game One is this Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Pepsi Center, and Game Two is Saturday, May 20, in Saskatchewan.

Should the teams split the first two affairs, a third, 10-minute “mini-game” will be played right after Game Two to decide the series winner.

The Mammoth topped Vancouver 13-12 — the franchise’s first playoff victory since winning the league title in 2006 — to earn a crack at the defending champion Rush, who beat Colorado by one goal on three separate occasions this season.

Denver Post sports reporter Kyle Newman previews the series on Denver Post TV.
