Bryan and Dana Kettlewell of Loveland made their television debut Thursday when their episode of “House Hunters” aired on the cable network HGTV.
“I am really glad we did it. I thought it was a really fun experience and a great thing to be a part of,” said Bryan.
It was Dana, a big fan of the show, who decided to apply as a featured home buyer as soon as she knew the couple was ready to enter the market. Dana said getting behind the scenes of the show has not ruined the show for her, it has just given her a different viewpoint.
Just prior to filming last September, the music teachers both started new jobs. Bryan is the choir teacher at Thompson Valley High School and Dana is a band teacher at University Schools in Greeley.
The couple had been living with her parents outside Boulder. They were searching for home in the $275,000 range.
