
Bryan S. Bolding, 46, the school’s technology director for the past three years, was booked with his 16-year-old accused accomplice on felony charges including terrorist training activities, conspiracy, attempting to influence a public servant, possession and use of a hoax incendiary device and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, as well as charges of reckless endangerment, child abuse without injury and several counts of felony menacing.
A regional bomb squad performed a final sweep of the school after 8 p.m., said Jacqueline Kirby, spokeswoman for the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
Students and staff members were evacuated to a nearby church after the threat was made at 3:10 p.m. but were given the “all clear” to return at about 9:30 p.m., says a school statement issued through spokeswoman Laura Fawcett.
