A 25-year-old man was sentenced Thursday to 30 years in prison for sex trafficking.

Donald Pierre Whiteside was sentenced in Adams County District Court after pleading guilty March 10 to human trafficking for sexual servitude and attempted sexual assault, according to the district attorney’s office.

in 2016, Whiteside traveled with two female victims, ages 18 and 22, in Colorado, Arizona and along the West Coast, forcing the pair into prostitution, the DA’s office said.

Whiteside set prices charged, drove victims to appointments and took all of the money involved.

“He physically, sexually and emotionally abused his victims in order to gain compliance,” prosecutors said in a news release. “He also forced them to get tattoos of his pimp moniker.”

Whiteside was ordered to register as a sex offender as part of the sentencing.
