
The pilot program that will implement a parking fee and set up a free shuttle service at Chautauqua will begin on Saturday and run every weekend until Aug. 27.
Parking in and near Chautauqua on those days will now by $2.50 per hour with no time limit. Visitors can pay by finding pay stations along Baseline Road or by downloading the ParkMobile smartphone app.
A free shuttle will also run every 15 minutes from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. from downtown Boulder and the University of Colorado with stops along the way.
Dogs and climbing gear will be allowed on the shuttle.
Visitors can also get a discount from Lyft when using the ride-share service to get to Chautauqua.
