Firefighters from metro area departments practiced swift water rescue techniques in the high water of Clear Creek on Friday, June 3. It was the last day of a four-day course for training and certification led by Mike Worcester of West Metro Fire Rescue using technically challenging rope systems to rescue and recover victims of water or auto accidents that end up in fast water.
