On board with the ? You’re in luck. You don’t have to go far from just about anywhere in metro Denver to find water where you can rent a stand up paddleboard.

Pro tip: It’s worth reserving your board in advance, especially on weekends when they tend to quickly get snapped up. And remember to use sunscreen.

On average, expect to pay $20 an hour (or $30 for two hours) to rent a paddleboard. Many outfitters offer lessons and classes.

Hours vary, so check with individual outfitters before you make plans for the day.


You can paddleboard on the reservoir or the nearby gravel pond.
