Anyone hoping for a smooth trip down Colfax Avenue Sunday has better make different plans.

The Coors Light PrideFest Parade will make its way from Cheesman Park to Civic Center via Colfax Avenue starting around 9:30 a.m. Sunday. The parade is expected to go for three hours.

The area around Civic Center park will still be blocked off for the rally. Bannock Street and Broadway are closed from Colfax to 13th Avenue. Colfax and 14th avenues are closed from Cherokee Street to Lincoln Street and Broadway, respectively.

Bus routes will have a minor detour around Civic Center Park through Sunday. For more route and schedule information, visit RTD-Denver.com or call RTD’s Telephone Information Center at (303) 299-6000. Those with impaired hearing and speech can call (303) 299-6089.
