Four entries made it to the first annual Potty Race sponsored by the Julesburg/Sedgwick County Chamber, Consolidated Heating and Plumbing, Slick Spot, Julesburg Drag Strip and Julesburg Laundr-o-mat. Up for grabs was $500 to the winning team, $200 for second place and Elitch tickets to the third- and fourth-place teams. Additional $50 awards were given for the “Most Creative” and “Best Design.” This was the featured event of the second annual Bull Bash and Fry.
