Driver error Monday morning sent a car over a hill, through a fence and into a swimming pool at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort, reports Gazette news partner KKTV.
The crash happened about 7:30 a.m. Monday when police told KKTV that a 73-year-old woman mistook her gas pedal for the brake pedal, sending the car careening out of control about 50 to 60 mph. The pool was not open and no one was in the pool.
