Like an ex-girlfriend or errant bird poop, Bill Murray — whose habit of crashing , and has made him a — will find you when you least expect it.

That is, unless you find him first.

Which is exactly what enterprising Denverite Rhiannon Watters did on Thursday night, eventually finding herself face to face with the actor at LoDo bar .

Following a tip from a friend’s post on Facebook, Watters and her friend Dane Robinson’decided to hit the bar to meet their hero, who was attending a class reunion set up in a back room. (Murray attended Denver’s .)

Watters and Robinson filled out name tags — “Rose” and “Jack,” respectively — and walked up to introduce themselves.

“We were like, ‘Hey, we know not supposed to be here,’ ” Watters said.

Murray figured that. Conspicuous in a name tag of his own, he shook their hands and looked them over, calling them a “handsome couple” before saying his goodbyes and making his way back into the reunion.

Their lives complete, Watters and Robinson absconded to the arcade-bar 1UP, where Watters finished the night by paying tribute to Murray with a round of “Ghostbusters” pinball.

Watters said she felt a little guilty about cutting in on Murray’s evening — but just a little.

“I figured, ‘Bill Murray crashes weddings, so I’m going to crash his reunion,” Watters said. “He was a good dude.”

Watters and Robinson weren’t the only Denverites to crash Murray’s party, as your social media feed could probably tell you. And therein lies the major difference between Denver’s party crashing and the kind Murray is known for: Murray’s friends .
