Re: ” ” July 14 letter to the editor.

Cathy Donohue asked, in her letter alleging bias against marijuana users, “Does anyone honestly believe that medical marijuana patients are such unworthy humans that we should ingest medicine that has been nurtured with water that is unfit to drink?”

She should consider that every wholesome Weld County-grown potato, onion, cabbage or sweet corn and every Rocky Ford melon she eats is grown under irrigation water that is not fit to drink.
