Trying to get out of class. An administrator at Horizon Middle School, 3981 S. Reservoir Road, called police to the campus July 6 because she had surveillance footage of two boys climbing onto the roof of the school earlier that morning. A maintenance worker later noticed that several components of the school’s HVAC system had been generally tampered with. The damage was easy to fix, but the suspects were too difficult to identify from the recording.

Dishes tossed in the driveway. A woman’s three daughters arranged to go to her ex boyfriend’s house in the 18000 block of East Asbury Drive to get her things back July 6. When they arrived, the ex refused to let them in, and instead threw boxes of their mother’s things into the driveway, including a set of dishes that shattered. Officers explained that the situation was a civil matter and then left.

Fast fraud, fast action. While sitting at home doing nothing July 7, a man received an email from his bank that his account had just over drafted. He looked online and saw that someone was buying things at Walmart, 5650 S. Chambers Road, with his credit card. He cancelled the card.

Unsafe keeping. The manager of Public Storage, 4251 S. Reservoir Road, noticed that a lock was missing from one of the units July 6. The people renting the unit said that almost $1,000 worth of various electronics and tools were missing.

Shattered window. Someone shattered the front window of Sally Beauty Supply, 4257 S. Buckley Road, July 5. There are no suspects.
