On any other day, if a Denver Post reporter wanted a Big Mac and fries, they’d walk 500 feet to
But this isn’t any other day. This is McDelivery Day.
A promotion between the massive burger chain and UberEATS, McDelivery Day celebrates the companies’ partnership, offering UberEATS users exclusive McDonald’s merchandise with their burger. Like a Happy Meal for adults.
Potential prizes include a burger-branded picnic blanket, a Big Mac pillowcase, McDonald’s-themed onsie pajamas, and World Famous-branded hoodies, sweatpants and flip flops.
Aside from the merch, select cities are getting a little extra. In New York, supermodel Chrissy Teigen will be on delivery duty. In Japan, customers can receive personalized thank-you notes from the McDonald’s crew.
McDelivery Day started at 11 a.m. Wednesday, are participating. The promotion ends when the special prizes run out.

After making sure I placed an order from a participating location, I ordered my lunch just as the clock hit 11 a.m. and waited for my prize. After about 20 minutes of anxiously waiting, my driver finally arrived with my food in one bag and my McDonald’s swag in another.
While most of my colleagues and I were hoping I’d score one of the onesies, I got flip flops, two sizes too big. While a bit of a letdown in comparison to the fashion-forward PJs, the flip flops that let me leave a trail of footprints in the sand embossed with the word “McDelivery” will do.
