A man robbed a bank in Lyons on Thursday, fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The robbery happened at about 3 p.m. at Bank of the West, 303 Main St., according to the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office.
The robber was last seen running north on Third Avenue. Deputies, using dogs, searched the area, but the robber was not found.
The robber is described as a white man, about 5-foot-4 with a slender build, a buzz-style haircut and light facial hair. He was wearing a light gray shirt, black pants, black and white shoes, a black baseball cap and aviator-style sunglasses. He had a dark gray backpack with black straps.
