Investigators suspect the same man of robbing two banks, several months apart, in Aurora.

Photos of the robber were released Monday in hope that someone recognizes the suspect and calls police.

The most recent robbery happened at about 5:55 p.m. Friday at Chase Bank, 16750 E. Quincy Ave., according to Metro Denver Crime Stoppers. The robber passed a note demanding money and fled west on foot.

The earlier robbery happened at about 5:45 p.m. Feb. 13 at Chase Bank, 5800 S. Parker Road. The robber passed a note demanding money and fled on foot.

The robber is described as a Latino man between age 35 and 40, 5-foot-8 with a medium build. During Friday’s robbery, he was wearing a red Tabasco T-shirt, a tan cap and dark pants.

Anyone with information on the robberies or a possible suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers, at 720-913-7867 (STOP) or send a text to 274637 (CRIMES). Use the title MDCS and enter a message. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
