The anticipation for the Aug. 17 pre-Broadway premiere of “Frozen” at Denver’s Buell Theatre could hardly be higher.

National media outlets are eyeing the Mile High City as the incubator for this multimillion-dollar stage adaptation of the hit animated film. Officials at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts are keeping a tight lid on all details of the production, including costumes, sets and new songs (about three times as many as in the film).
