Singer Kesha has been synonymous with partying and dumb fun since her breakthrough single “Tik Tok” began rattling every club and car in earshot circa summer 2009.
But, in the wake of a troubling couple of years for the pop star — she , AKA Dr. Luke, of sexual assault, and has by the producer — Kesha has rethought her sound. Her new album, “Rainbow” (out Aug. 11 via RCA), is her first in five years, and a shade darker than we’re used to seeing from the pop songstress.
On the heels of that album, Kesha has announced a new North American tour, which includes a Denver date, her first solo show here since 2011. (She split a bill with Pitbull at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in 2013.)
Kesha will play Denver’s Fillmore Auditorium on October 24. Tickets go on sale Aug. 5 at 10 a.m. via . A Citi card member presale goes live on Aug. 3 at 10 a.m. A copy of Kesha’s new album will be bundled with every pair of tickets sold.—
