Drivers seeking to cross the highway east to west will be rerouted north on I-25 to County Line Road, where they can head west and catch Yosemite Street south back toward Lincoln. Those traveling from west to east will be detoured south on Park Meadows Drive to Ridgegate Parkway, which crosses the highway.

During the closure, neither on-ramp onto southbound I-25 will be open, according to the city. The southbound off-ramp at Lincoln will remain open, but only left turns will be permitted at the top. The northbound off-ramp also will remain open, but only right turns will be permitted, according to the city’s release.

The closure will allow RTD to place concrete girders for a future bridge over Lincoln as part of the , which eventually will add 2.3 miles of track and three more stops to the light rail system in Lone Tree. The closure is not related to work on , officials say. That project shut down the road in both directions for nearly three days from July 21 through July 24.
