A teenage driver in a double-fatal rollover crash near Bennett was advised of charges against him Monday in Adams County Juvenile Court.

The 16-year-old has been charged with two counts of vehicular homicide and two counts of vehicular assault, both felonies, according to the Adams County district attorney’s office.
The teen also faces four traffic charges as a minor who has not held a valid driver’s license for at least six months operating a vehicle containing a passenger under age 21 and three counts of a driver under 18 operating a vehicle while occupants were not wearing seat belts.
The on East 38th Avenue near North Harback Road. Killed in the crash were Kiyure Gross, 16, and Jesse Wilson, 15. Ciara Bingham, 15, and Malachi Clifford, 18, were injured seriously.
The teenager is accused of driving at a “high rate of speed” when he lost control of a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer. A pretrial conference is scheduled for Sept. 27.
