At a moment when Denver is where everybody wants to be and where home prices have been soaring, Colorado born-and-bred builder Oakwood Homes is breaking the price barrier — bringing one of its most popular single-family home series into a new location in the northeast, from as low as the $320s. The destination is Reunion, the master-planned community six miles west of DIA, with its array of parks and amenities and good commuter access via E-470.
At Oakwood’s new sales center in Reunion, you can pick a homesite and then personalize your selection of a home design, choosing from popular Park House and Carriage House collection plans. Oakwood also has a choice of “Designer Showcase Homes” heading for delivery, ones that will have their interior features chosen by interior-design professionals, making selections based on homebuyers’ demonstrated preferences.
Reunion’s vast site, almost four square miles, is home to only around 1,500 families, who share 152 acres of parks, an 18-hole golf course and a 21,000-square-foot rec center with a resort-style pool and scenic lakes. Reunion is almost ideally situated for the growth potential thatap created by DIA and its infrastructure — already visible now with the arrival of commuter rail and the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center.

In addition to the Park House series, Oakwood is planning to release its even MORE affordable Carriage House single family homes early next month. You can ask about those today, and sign up for information on floor plans, exclusive pricing, available home sites and some special incentives.
“The northeast area is now fulfilling the vision of what people imagined when the new airport first opened,” says Oakwood Homes CEO Pat Hamill, who has overseen some 15,000 homes built around metro Denver. “We can see the potential for the jobs that are coming; but we need to assure that families can buy quality homes in attractive neighborhoods. Reunion matches our expectations for that.”
The Park House Collection’s eight single-family floor plans are sized from 1,600 to 2,300 square feet, including family-sized two-stories and Oakwood’s signature ranch designs with their “Smart Spaces” upstairs, as added areas for a guest suite or study/library. They all feature Oakwood’s energy design, including a two-year energy bill performance guarantee.
While you’re visiting Oakwood’s sales center, you’ll see the community’s 52-acre Reunion Park, along with eight acres of lakes and 10 miles of trails. Reunion already has 900 acres of shopping, commercial and mixed-use development, with a new King Soopers and 27-J Schools, including a charter school. Commuter access via E-470 or Tower Road works for trips to DIA (15 minutes) or west to Broomfield and U.S. 36 (25 minutes); and is workable to the I-70 corridor and downtown Denver via I-76 and Highway 2. And Oakwood families will have the immense parklands of Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge and Barr Lake State Park, both nearby.
To visit Oakwood’s Reunion sales center, from Peña Blvd near DIA take Tower Road north to East 104th; turn west a half mile to Reunion Parkway, then head north on Reunion Parkway a long block to the park, angle right on Reunion, and continue around past the park to East 107th.
