MONTROSE — Authorities have released the name of an inmate who was found dead in his cell in western Colorado.
The Montrose County coroner’s office says 26-year-old Robert Petersen, of Yuma, Arizona, was found unresponsive early Friday, and attempts to revive him were unsuccessful.
Investigators say Petersen, previously of Ridgeway, hanged himself.
No other information was released.
