Interstate 25 will shut down in both directions between Lincoln Avenue and RidgeGate Parkway in Douglas County on Monday and Tuesday nights, starting at 10 p.m. and lasting until 5 a.m., as bridge work is completed.
The Rampart Range Metro District is setting girders for an extension to its Sky Ridge bridge, south of Lincoln Avenue and near the future Sky Ridge station and future I-25 light rail bridge.
Motorists traveling southbound on I-25 will exit at Lincoln Avenue and head east to S. Peoria Street, take S. Peoria Street south to RidgeGate Parkway and then take RidgeGate Parkway west to I-25.
Northbound motorists are asked to make the same detour in the opposite direction.
