Going to the Broncos game tonight? Here are a few tips to make parking and taking public transit easier.
Denver Public Works Right-of-Way Enforcement is reminding fans posted parking restrictions will be enforced for tonightap game. Posted signs in the stadium area restrict parking to vehicles with the correct residential parking permit posted in the window from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and from noon to 9 p.m. on weekends. Restricted areas are marked with “No Parking Except With A Permit” signs.
If you don’t park at a lot on stadium property, park only in lots that display a special event parking sign issued by City & County of Denver or lots clearly managed by reputable companies. The signs, which display the seal of the City & County of Denver, include the address of the lot, assures users that their vehicles are parked legally and won’t be ticketed, towed or trapped in by other vehicles.
Public Works also encourages people to use public transportation and bikes to travel to the game.
The stadium is near bike paths and has over 300 individual racks. Plan your route using or pick up a free copy of the at your local recreation center or Denver City Council office.
The stadium is easily accessible by bus or light rail. The Regional Transportation District starts BroncosRide service to the stadium on Saturday. The RTD offers this bus service for all pre-season and home games from 22 park-n-Rides throughout the metro area. Buses depart up to 2 1/2 hours before kickoff, depending on location. After the game, fans can find their destination in the designated row and board for their return trip. The BroncosRide service map can be viewed .
The RTD is reminding fans that this service will no longer be provided at East High School. Alternate service will be provided by the 15L to Decatur–Federal Station. Passengers will not be permitted to leave any personal items in the bus during the game.
As part of the BroncosRide service, the Federal Shuttle, which stops at Lincoln High School and at bus stops along Federal Boulevard, will operate every five-to-10 minutes starting two hours before kickoff on weekend game days and 1 1/2 hours before kickoff on weekday game days. The last bus departs 15 minutes before kickoff. Immediately following the game return service will begin with the last bus departing 45 minutes after the game.
Passengers who have purchased the Broncos Short or Long Pass will be able to use their pass on BroncosRide bus service or aboard light rail to travel to and from the game. Ticket agents will be available at key stations. BroncosRide bus fares range from $8 to $10 roundtrip, depending on the trip length.
On game days, the C, E, and W lines will stop at the stadium and the W Line will also stop at the Decatur-Federal Station. Special C Line service will be available up to three hours before each weekend home game.
Passengers can also take the D, H or F light rail lines and transfer to the C or E lines at the I-25/Broadway, Alameda or 10th/Osage stations. Regular fares on light rail range from $2.25 to $5 one-way or $4.50 to $10 roundtrip, depending on trip length. It is recommended that passengers purchase a round-trip ticket at their initial boarding station to avoid ticket lines after the game.
