Another suspect allegedly tried to dismantle a bed after her boyfriend didn’t take her out for her birthday

Hurt by handcuffs. Police pulled over a motorcyclist on Hampden and South Wadsworth Boulevard for a traffic violation on Aug. 23. After refusing to provide identification, the suspect placed his hands behind his back, and the officer handcuffed him. The suspect then complained that the officer was pinching him.

Power tool attack. Police responded to a couple arguing at 561 S. Sheridan Blvd. on Aug. 18. The argument started because a man told a woman she had to move out. The woman then grabbed two power hand drills and hit the man’s car door with them. Officers called the woman after the man filed the report. they were unable to get in touch with her.

Boozed and confused. Police found a man slumped behind the wheel of his vehicle Aug. 22 at West Mexico Place and South Wadsworth Boulevard. The officer asked the man what was going on, and he said, “A lot of booze. Mostly vodka.” The man was alone, but he thought someone was in the vehicle with him. Police arrested the man for suspicion of driving under the influence.

Birthday brat. 494 S. Youngfield Court on Aug. 22, police responded to a couple arguing. The couple was arguing because the man didn’t take the woman out for her birthday. She told the man to leave their bedroom, and when he wouldn’t she began to take apart the bed in the room. The woman was taken into custody for harassment.

Eyes don’t lie. Police approached a vehicle at 1915 Denver W. Court on Aug. 25 in response to a report of an intoxicated person. The man would make eye contact with police and then he would close his eyes numerous times. He was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.
