Soft easterly breezes will help keep temperatures in the low 80s Wednesday in the Denver metro area, forecasters say.
The high temperature will be around 83 degrees in downtown Denver. The low Wednesday night will be around 55 degrees.
Temperatures will be warmer through the weekend, according to meteorologists and the National Weather Service in Boulder.
It will be mostly sunny on Thursday with a high near 86 degrees.
Afternoon rain and thunderstorms are possible on Friday, when the high temperature reaches about 87 degrees, according to the NWS.
The chance for afternoon storms on Saturday diminishes. The high will be around 88 degrees.
On Sunday and the first few days of the work week it will be sunny with highs in the mid-to-upper 80s, forecasters say.
