Englewood police have arrested a man suspected of critically wounding a man in his 50s after entering a home through the front door on Monday.

Police arrested Kenneth Tafoya, 59, without incident on Tuesday. He faces a charge of attempted first-degree murder. A woman in the home was not injured.

The unidentified victim was taken to Swedish Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition.

Tafoya’s record includes arrests for burglary, kidnapping, assault and harassment. Sheridan Police Department and the Fugitive Location Apprehension Group aided in the arrest.
