If what’s going in the old Argyll Whisky Beer space in Uptown has been keeping you up at night, you’re about to sleep a whole lot better. It’ll be the second outpost for , the popular sports bar on Lincoln Street.
“We love Uptown and felt there was not a lot of more casual bars or sports bars in the neighborhood,” said owner Stoney Jesseph. “Uptown has a ton of residential, and we think that’s where Stoney’s fits best.”
The new Stoney’s Uptown Joint won’t be as big as the original Stoney’s Bar & Grill — it’ll hold 250 compared to 600 people — but it will have the same throwback feel, great beers and sports bar fare (think sliders and tater tots).
Jesseph said that they’ve got some remodeling to do, but he hopes that the new Stoney’s Uptown Joint will be open by the end of the year.
