Legendary professional wrestling manager , World Wrestling Entertainment announced Sunday. Heenan was 72.
Nicknamed “The Brain,” Heenan was the witty mouthpiece for a number of WWE Hall of Fame wrestlers, including King Kong Bundy, “Ravishing” Rick Rude, Curt Hennig and Andre the Giant.
Later in his career, he served a commentator for Monday Night Raw and WCW Monday Nitro.
Many in the pro wrestling community went to social media to share their condolences.
