Gutter gunk. According to a police report, officers responded to the area of Barney Gulch Road and Kennedy Gulch Road, Conifer on Sept. 12, in reference to reports of littering. Officers found pieces of gutters and related material had been dumped on private property. The officers attempted to call the reporting party, but were unable to reach him or her.
Forgotten bicycle. Officers were dispatched to a Days Inn, 15059 W. Colfax Ave., Golden on Sept. 10, in reference to a found bicycle. A maintenance technician found a Pacific brand, red, white and blue bicycle four days prior, according to a police report. The technician placed the bike in the storage room in hopes someone would claim it. When no one did, he called police in case it was stolen. Officers ran the serial number in case there was any criminal activity, but there wasn’t.
Hockey hijack. According to a police report, officers contacted a resident in the 13000 block of West La Salle Circle, Lakewood, in reference to a theft. The resident told police she had ordered Denver University season hockey tickets, but when she went to her mailbox to retrieve the tickets, it appeared someone had tampered with the envelope and the tickets were missing. The resident contacted DU and requested replacement tickets. She reported the incident in case someone tried to scalp the stolen tickets.
Angry argument. Officers were dispatched to the 26000 block of Kingsbury Drive, Kittredge on Sept. 11, in reference to an argument. According to a police report, officers contacted the suspects and concluded that the incident was not physical. Officers advised the reporting party to call again if another if he or she heard another argument.
