A Boulder sex offender has been sentenced to 20 years in prison followed by at least 10 years of probation after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting a teenage girl in 2016.

Christopher Ehlebracht, 30, pleaded guilty to first-degree assault and sex assault on a child, according to Boulder Deputy District Attorney Tim Johnson, the prosecutor on the case.

Ehlebracht will serve 20 years in prison on the first-degree assault charge, a Class 3 extraordinary risk felony. Once he is released, he will serve a 10-year probation sentence on the sex assault charge.
