New projects include $55 million to begin the East Colfax Avenue bus rapid transit project, $30.7 million for the fixing of sidewalks and the near transit stations, $27 million to expand 56th Avenue between Peoria Street and Peña Boulevard, and several projects that incorporate bike lanes and pedestrian improvements.
