FBI agents and Philadelphia homicide detectives arrested a 38-year-old murder suspect in Philadelphia Tuesday morning in connection to the July robbery and murder in which he and another gunman posed as utility workers, authorities say.

Eric William Grant and an accomplice allegedly killed George John Maldonado, 50, and during a robbery of Full Throttle Auto Service, 305 N. Chelton Rd., in Colorado Springs.

Grant was arrested without incident with the cooperation of Philadelphia and Colorado Springs police, FBI agents based in Colorado Springs and Philadelphia and the U.S. Marshals’ Service, according to a news release by Lt. Howard Black, Colorado Springs police spokesman.

Authorities arrested Grant’s accomplice, 59-year-old Derrick Davis, in Bloomington, Minnesota on July 17, according to news reports.
