Former KWGN-Channel 2 anchor Tom Green will be joining NBC’s 9NEWS this month, .

According to the station’s report, Green will be on air for the 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. news slots starting in late October.

Green, who , was an anchor for 9NEWS for more than 13 years. He’s considered one of the longest-tenured broadcasters in Denver, having also worked for—KMGH and as a radio host for—KKFN-AM, in addition to posts at—ESPN, ABC and Fox Sports.

“I always figured I’d return to 9NEWS at some point,” Green . “It’s where I started my career in Colorado and has always felt like home.”
