The battery of an ankle monitor — worn by a criminal defendant free on bond — wore out and the sheriff’s office is asking the public’s help in locating the fugitive.

Eric Ryan Anderson, 35, is awaiting trial on domestic violence, violation of a protective order, stalking and burglary charges, according to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.

Anderson was wearing a GPS ankle monitor, as a condition of his bond, but the battery ran out and the sheriff’s office is trying to find him. An arrest warrant for violation of bond conditions has been issued for Anderson.

He is described as a white man, 6′ tall and 215 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. His last residential address was in Thornton.

Anyone who knows of Anderson’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the sheriff’s office at 303-288-1535.
