Folks chowing down at the Torchy’s Tacos eatery on Broadway near downtown Denver won’t be able to wash down the spicy fare with beer, wine or cocktails.
The popular taco joint at has had its liquor license suspended by the city, according to a notice posted on a front door.
The suspension is for a “violation of the Colorado liquor/beer code,” according to the sign.
The suspension runs through October 30, according to a staffer.
Torchy’s locations serve Margaritas, Bloody Mary’s and other hard drinks, as well as beer and wine.
