A 30-year-old man believed to have ambushed and shot three people near Colorado State University, killing two including his girlfriend, will be buried Friday afternoon in Nebraska, according to an obituary.
The funeral for Michael Anthony Zamora, who was a father of a young girl, will be 2 p.m. Friday Capehart Chapel in Bellevue, Neb., according to an .
He is survived by his parents, his daughter, six siblings and two stepsisters, the obituary says. Memorials can be sent to “At Ease,” which serves active military personnel, veterans and their families.
Zamora was a staff sergeant for the U.S. Air Force stationed at F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming.
, Zamora shot and killed Savannah McNealy and Tristian Kemp, 26, of Destin, Fla. He also shot Megan Dierker before turning the gun on himself, Fort Collins police have said.
Police are still trying to determine a motive for the shooting.
