Windy city

It’s about to get a little windier in the Mile High City. Old Chicago & Taproom is opening its 26th location in Colorado. The new location in Highlands Ranch (1489 Park Central Dr.) opens its doors on Nov. 6 at 11 a.m. To mark the occasion, the first 100 guests on opening day get free pizza for year — one large pizza with any toppings each month. After dining or enjoying a few drinks, those first 100 guests can redeem a ticket for their monthly pizza coupon book.

Bargain burritos

Tuesdays aren’t just about tacos. Cafe Rio Mexican Grills serves delicious savings on its Tasty Tuesdays. Every Tuesday, get a burrito, salad, quesadilla or order of tacos for $5.49. Choose from shredded pork, beef or chicken. Given the chain does little advertising, its popularity is largely based on word-of-mouth. As a result, expect lines, especially if you go during lunch or dinner hours.

A smashing good deal

Prepare your taste buds for big savings, Smashburger fans. The burger joint is offering a nearly two-month-long savings pass. Through Nov. 15, purchase its first-ever Holiday Smash Pass for $54. Available online only, the pass holds the key to lots of savings for hungry bargain hunters. From Nov. 15 to Jan. 9, 2018, pass holders receive a coupon each day, good for any a la carte entr–e for just $1. Joining the chain’s loyalty program, Smash Club, is required to activate the pass. Then, each day, a $1 entr—e coupon will be added to your account — valid only for that day. It’s the best deal the Denver-based chain has ever offered. smashpass.

Non-military can subscribe to the email list for a similar offer.

Porky pig

GQue Championship BBQ (5160 W. 120th Ave.) in Westminster is celebrating its two-year anniversary on Nov. 9.
