A Fort Carson soldier was shot after a fight broke out early Saturday outside The Thirsty Parrot Bar & Grill.
At about 1:30 a.m., three soldiers got in an argument in the bar. Colorado Springs police officers said the argument continued into the street, then moved to a nearby parking lot, where one person fired shots from a handgun.
One of the soldiers was shot in the arm and leg. He was rushed to the hospital and is recovering from what police say are non-life-threatening injuries.
