This restaurant sits in the old location of the Las Delicias in LoDo and has a homey vibe with its yellow wallsand service that moves swiftly to make your experience smooth and enjoyable. Arrive early if you’re seeking lunch on a weekday, because the line typically stretches out the door.

The scoop: La Loma settled into its after moving from Jefferson Park more than a year ago. While the new location is smaller, La Loma still serves the entrees and margaritas that Coloradans fell in love with years ago. This is a great place for a date, a family celebration or a business introduction — or just a tasty margarita and a belly full of food.
La Lloma recommendation: The anniversary plate, a dish that includes a stuffed sopapilla, a chili relleno and a chicken flauta topped with guacamole, sour cream and green chili.
