Amazon to open pop-up store at the opening of the Whole Foods Market near Union Station

People can try out Amazon devices ranging from Echo to Fire TV

Trying to order an Amazon Echo? Step away from the computer and head over to Whole Foods Market.

Seattle-based Amazon, which acquired Whole Foods in August, will open a pop-up store of near Union Station, the tech giant said Thursday.

The Denver pop-up store is one of five in Whole Foods stores across the nation. The others are in Chicago, Rochester Hills, Mich., Davie, Fla., and Pasadena, Calif. People can try out Amazon devices, including the Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, Fire TV, Kindle e-readers and Fire tablets.

There are more than 100 other Whole Foods stores selling Amazon devices, including locations in Cherry Creek North and on Pearl Street in Boulder, spokeswoman Robin Kelly said. T

A few when the companies’ merger finalized.

The company also has Amazon Pop-Up stores in malls, including Park Meadows and Cherry Creek Shopping Center.
