A Denver high school was on lockdown Wednesday afternoon after a report of a juvenile armed with a gun.
Officers were sent to Manual High School, 1700 E. 28th Ave., around 3:30 p.m. said John White, a police spokesman.
ALERT: responded to the 1700 block of E. 28th Street on a report of a possibly armed juvenile in the area. Two juvenile suspects have been taken into custody. Manual High School remains on lock down. Investigation is ongoing.

Staff alerted a school resource officer about the incident, and additional officers were called. The school was placed on lockdown.
Officers contacted two juveniles at the school and both are in custody, White said.
It’s unclear whether the pair are students at the school, White said. A gun was recovered. An investigation is ongoing.
