FBI, Denver police seek public’s help in identifying bank suspect

Investigators released photos Monday of an armed bank robber in Denver in hopes of getting tips identifying a suspect.

The robbery happened about 1:05 p.m. Monday at the Bank of the West, 2050 Downing St., according to the Denver Police Department and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force.

The robber is described as a white man, about 5-foot-9 with a medium build, light brown hair and about age 30. He was wearing a dark striped hat, white long-sleeve shirt over a dark-colored shirt, blue jeans and dark shoes.

The robber fled the bank on foot heading north. No one was injured.
