Lakewood Crime Blotter: Police cite woman following multiple 911 calls

False reports.Officers were dispatched Nov. 7 to the 7300 block of WestKentucky Driveafter a 911 caller abruptly hung up the phone. Police also received a text from a woman at the address who said her boyfriend had been shot, according to a police report. Police said the woman previously had made as many as 10 similar reports. A man greeted police at the door of the residence and was unhurt, according to the report. The woman admitted to sending the text and said she thought someone else was in the home. The woman was cited for false reporting.

A drink before jail. Police knocked on the door of a motel room on the 11000 block of West Colfax Avenueon Nov. 9 while searching for a man and woman who had active warrants for their arrest. After officers knocked multiple times, a woman yelled that she was getting dressed, according to a police report. The woman was cooperative when she finally opened the door, officers reported. The woman said she delayed responding to police so she could drink some vodka, knowing she wouldn’t be able to in jail, according to the report.

Drive-thru crash. On Nov. 11, police were dispatched to McDonald’s,6801 W. Alameda Ave., after a vehicle allegedly rear-ended another in the drive-thru lane. Police believed the man in the rear vehicle was under the influence. He had previous alcohol-related driving offenses. He was arrested and taken to the Jefferson County jail.
