Just 24 hours after the great consumer holiday comes another day dedicated to shopping — with a focus on supporting your neighbors. Shopping in your community doesn’t just increase your chance of nabbing a distinct gift, it greatly boosts the local economy. For every $100 spent at local businesses, some studies show , as opposed to less than $14 if purchases are made at large chain stores. One shop offering a special deal for the holiday is , a retailer of furniture, women’s clothing and distinct towels, mugs and canvas prints. The shop will offer hundreds of clothing items for less than $15.

The market hosts an annual gift and craft market for Small Business Saturday, so you can get ahead on your holiday shopping while enjoying a day away from the city.
