A man who was fatally shot and whose body was found in a northwest Denver alleyway has been identified.
About 1 a.m. Oct. 2, Salvador Gallegos Alvarado, 44, was pronounced dead in the 3900 block of the Lipan/Mariposa alley, according to the Denver medical examiner’s office.
The office released Alvarado’s identity Monday.
“An autopsy was completed, and the cause of death was from a gunshot wound,” the office announced. “The manner of death is homicide.”
