Colorado State football didn’t finish its regular season in contention for the Mountain West championship as it hoped, but several Rams were honored by the league Wednesday with the release of all-conference selections.

Four CSU players earned first-team distinctions: Quarterback Nick Stevens, receiver and offensive linemen and Zach Golditch. Stevens leads the Mountain West in passing yards (3,479) and passing touchdowns (27). Gallup, one of three Biletnikoff Award finalists for the country’s top pass catcher, is also the conference leader in catches (94) and receiving yards (1,345). Bennett and Golditch started every game and were staples of an offensive line that allowed an average of 0.67 sacks per game, which ranks third nationally.

CSU running back was named second-team All-Mountain West. He rushed for 1,349 yards and eight touchdowns this season and ran more than 100 yards in seven of eight conference games.

Five more Rams received honorable mention honors: linebacker , tight end , offensive lineman , punter Ryan Stonehouse and linebacker .

CSU (7-5, 5-3) has qualified for a fifth consecutive bowl game. Its destination will be revealed on Sunday.

For Wyoming, the Cowboys had three players — defensive back Andrew Wingard, and defensive linemen Youhanna Ghaifan and Carl Granderson — named first-team All-Mountain West. Defensive back Rico Gafford and linebacker Logan Wilson were second-team selections and quarterback Josh Allen and return specialist Tyler Hall were named honorable mentions.

CSU and Wyoming will play in a bowl game this season. The destinations will be announced Sunday.
